1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using Shairme, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the platform. We may update these terms at any time, and continued use constitutes acceptance of changes.
2. Platform Description
Shairme is a short-form video commerce platform that connects shoppers, content creators, and product sellers. Creators post shoppable videos, shoppers purchase products through those videos, and creators earn commissions on sales they drive.
3. User Accounts
You must be at least 18 years old to create an account. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and for all activity under your account. You must provide accurate and complete information during registration.
4. Creator Terms
Creators earn commissions on qualifying sales driven by their content. Commission rates are set by sellers and displayed on each product. Shairme reserves the right to modify commission structures with 30 days notice. Creators must comply with FTC disclosure guidelines and clearly indicate commercial relationships in their content.
5. Seller Terms
Sellers are responsible for accurate product listings, timely order fulfillment, customer service for their products, and compliance with applicable consumer protection laws. Sellers set their own commission rates and are responsible for shipping and returns.
6. Payments
All payments are processed through Stripe. Shairme retains a 10% platform fee on each transaction. Creator commissions are paid weekly for balances exceeding $25. Sellers receive their share minus creator commissions and platform fees.
7. Content Guidelines
Users must not post content that is illegal, harmful, threatening, abusive, defamatory, or infringes on intellectual property rights. Shairme reserves the right to remove content and suspend accounts that violate these guidelines.
8. Intellectual Property
Creators retain ownership of their content. By posting on Shairme, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide license to display, distribute, and promote your content on the platform. Shairme's brand, logo, and platform design are our intellectual property.
9. Limitation of Liability
Shairme is a marketplace platform. We are not responsible for the quality, safety, or legality of products sold by sellers, or the accuracy of content posted by creators. Our total liability shall not exceed the fees paid to us in the 12 months preceding the claim.
10. Termination
Either party may terminate at any time. Upon termination, pending commissions will be paid out, and sellers must fulfill outstanding orders. Shairme may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms without prior notice.
